MSM Juniors received their class rings at a traditional red rose ceremony on December 8. The ceremony was part of the school's Immaculate Conception liturgy.

Continuing the Mount St. Mary tradition, students are presented with a red rose with their ring attached. More than half the class received their rings from family members who had attended MSM. Christine Fiorella, part of the Reiser family dynasty, received her ring from seven members of her family. Alumnae Shirley Christy (1945) presented a ring to her granddaughter, Charlotte [pictured at left with aunt Suzanne Christy Hartl (1975)], and Elizabeth Seifert Metzer (1941) and Mary Ellen Seifert Sinclair presented niece and granddaughter Erin Sinclair with her ring.

Students are allowed to wear a ring which belonged to older relatives or purchase a new ring which is nearly identical to the original Mount St. Mary rings. Rings are available in gold or white gold and feature the school's emblem with the symbols of Mary encircling the letters MSM.

If you are an alumna of Mount St. Mary and would like to donate your ring to a current student, please contact Julie Rosenecker Wojick (1985), Assistant Principal for Institutional Advancement at (716) 877-1358. If you have lost your ring, check the Jostens Lost and Found page or contact Jostens to purchase a replacement.
