The Mount St. Mary Academy Marching Band performed in the Disney Parade at Walt Disney World on April 19th. This marks the third MSM appearance at Disney World for the Marching Band which includes over 110 students, in addition to a Dance Team and Color Guard.

For the first time, the Mount St. Mary Marching Band carried the flags of the Diocese of Buffalo and the Town of Tonawanda.

"Being recognized as ambassadors of the Diocese and the Town of Tonawanda has been a tremendous honor," said John Hathaway, Mount St. Mary's Instrumental Music Director. "We are proud to represent the Buffalo and Tonawanda areas which have provided us with endless support."

Mount St. Mary Academy's Marching Band includes 110 members and is the only all-girls fully instrumental marching band in New York State. The award-winning group has appeared at the New York City St. Patrick's Day and the H.O.P.E. Inaugural Youth Ball.

Mount St. Mary Academy, founded by the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur, is an all-girls, Catholic college-preparatory high school located at 3756 Delaware Avenue in Kenmore. Mount St. Mary's is ranked in the top 5% of all Western New York high schools.
