Focus Newsletter

All Mount St. Mary alumnae receive a free subscription to the Focus Newsletter, which is published three times a year. The Focus Newsletter includes information about the school, alumnae programs and updates on classmates. If you have not received your Focus, please update your contact information. 

Continuing the Tradition

Diane Balaz San Filippo (1980) wanted to give her ring to close family friend, Rosemarie Paternostro (2011). Rosemarie was presented with her ring by her aunt, Joan Kimmerle Maiorana (1956), sister, Cristina Paternostro (2007) and mother, Suzanne Maiorana Paternostro (1980).

As the Night of the Dragon Chrysalis Auction draws near, Mount St. Mary's has been inspired to honor our dynasties.

What is a dynasty exactly? A dynasty is a group of MSM alumnae with family connections - both close (mothers and daughters) and distant (cousins and in-laws). Like the ruling families of China, our dynasties are families of strength, character and tradition. Some dynasties may be as small as three or four members while others are huge! But in true Mount character, we honor and value all of our families. Read more...
