Mount St. Mary Academy offers many special events throughout the year for interested sixth, seventh and eighth graders. Attending an admissions event at MSM is a great way to learn about the school while also meeting some of your future classmates!

Open House

September 26 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. & September 27 6 - 8 p.m.

This event, especially for sixth, seventh and eighth grade girls and their parents, offers student-led tours showcasing Mount St. Mary Academy's extensive five acre campus and nearly 100,000 square feet of facilities. Experience the variety of educational and technological offerings, and learn about dozens of sports, clubs and activities that are offered. Open House will include performances by the Mount St. Mary Academy instrumental and vocal music program, as well as visits to the school's state-of-the-art Library Media Center, dance studio and student-run Internet Café.

Discover the Mount from an academic, spiritual, and social perspective by speaking with faculty, coaches, students and their parents. Meet the Mount Night

October 15

Open to 5th - 8th graders, Meet the Mount Night provides an opportunity for prospective students to experience the fun and spirit that make up Mount St. Mary Academy. Stay tuned for more information on this year's event! Reservations for Meet the Mount Night are necessary.

Placement Exam

November 20 at 8:30 a.m.

The exam lasts approximately 3 1/2 hours and there is a $20 fee. An application for admission is necessary to register a student for this exam. First choice applicants are eligible for the scholarships and financial aid awards Mount St. Mary Academy offers.

Shadow at MSM

Open to 8th graders, preferably in October or November. See what life is like at Mount St. Mary's by spending a shadow day with us! We'll match you with a "Mountie Ambassador" who will be your guide for the day. You'll meet our students and teachers, experience classes and be treated to a delicious lunch! (Seventh graders are invited to shadow in the spring.) Contact us to request a shadow date, and we'll give you all the details.
